Shipping Notes IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTES... WE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO GET YOUR NEW CANOE, KAYAK OR PADDLE BOARD DELIVERED IN GOOD CONDITION BUT NEED YOU TO BE AWARE OF SOME IMPORTANT DETAILS WHEN YOU ORDER AND WHEN YOU ACCEPT DELIVERY. NOTICE... THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO READ. Boats that we ship to you MUST be inspected and signed for. With prior arrangement; we can arrange shipping to your home, or business, or you may opt to pick up at the nearby freight terminal [rates will vary]. It takes us quite a bit of time to wrap each boat very carefully in several layers to help protect it along the way. -We take pride in our job and are glad to offer this service for you; our customer. We HIGHLY recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note of any tears in packaging prior to signing anything! By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that you have received your boat in GOOD condition. Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. Do not sign or let the driver leave until you are sure all is OK. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules. What if there's Damage? If the craft is usable but you are disapointed you may write on the shipping document; wrapping torn, item damaged. Take pictures and then file a claim with the shipping company. If the craft is not usable you may write on the shipping document; wrapping torn, item broken, delivery refused. Take pictures so we can file a claim with the shipping company. The IMPORTANT thing is to open the package and look everything over real good. It's just about impossible to prove the shipping company broke your boat if no damage was noted at time of delivery! We include insurance and good wrapping in OUR shipping quote for any NEW kayak Or canoe you are buying from us. If you wish to arrange your own shipping we can wrap the boat for you.... ADD Wrapping fee; [bubble wrap; $45.] [cardboard box; $95.] Payments OR deposits on boats and racks are not refundable. We can not refund Wrapping fee on boats once the item has been wrapped.
