In 1996 Eddyline gave plastic kayaks a whole new
meaning with their Carbonlite 2000 technology. Using a high performance
thermoplastic sheet and applying heat and vacuum, they are able to make a kayak
that performs like fiberglass and has clear advantages over other plastics:
dimensional stability (no warping or denting), higher heat distortion
temperatures, hard glossy finishes, easy repairability, superior UV resistance
and lighter weights. Eddyline is committed to manufacturing in an
environmentally responsible manner. Carbonlite 2000 is 100% recyclable (as are
the bulkheads, cockpit and seat), all scrap plastic is reused and virtually no
waste is generated. Eddyline is the first company to apply this new technology
to the construction of kayaks and Carbonlite 2000 is an Eddyline exclusive.
Oak Orchard has sold Carbonlite since it was first available
over ten years ago. We are very impressed with the durability of these kayaks as
well as Eddyline's commitment to excellence and continuous improvements. What
started as a concept designed to provide composite perfomance at a more
reasonable price has evolved into a complete line of kayaks with perfomance,
durability, lightness that compare favorably on all levels to the best
fiberglass and kevlar kayaks regardless of price. Several other brands have
recently announced competing versions of the Carbonlite material. While
appearance is similar, Eddyline remains many years ahead in this technology.
Eddyline has chosen to always defer to to the latest improved technology so
they may provide the highest quality and best longeivity.

Sky 10: Length: 10.0 Ft. | Beam: 26.0 In. | Weight: 35 lbs. | Cockpit: 35" x 18.5" | Capacity: 250 lbs
The Sky 10 kayak came into existence due to the popularity of Eddyline's well liked Skylark and the ever
increasing demand for smaller, lighter boats. This kayak carries most of the paddling qualities and
features of its 12 foot sister but sports a good 5-6 lbs less weight, making car-topping and general
handling that much easier. The Sky 10 has more than adequate hull speed and efficiency for keeping
up with groups on casual cruises and plenty of capacity for the average paddler.
A roomy cockpit, (the same size as the Skylark) comfortable seat and backrest, hatches and bulkheads
bow and stern for safety, excellent stability and a host of features combine to make this kayak a fun
choice for recreational paddling along shorelines, lakes and easy rivers. Small enough to load on your
big boat - toss in your camera, lunch and fishing rod and paddle to your favorite spot with ease.

Sandpiper: Length: 12.0 Ft. | Beam: 28.0 In. | Weight: 38 lbs. | Cockpit: 48" x 22" | Capacity: 350 lbs
Anyone can paddle this boat! The large cockpit makes getting in or out of this very
stable recreational kayak a breeze, even from a dock or boat deck. Take along your kid,
your dog, your camera, the groceries, oh - and don't forget the fishing rod. It's stable
enough to land a big one. The Sandpiper is easy to maneuver in those backwaters while bird
watching and small enough to fit on your yacht. It is so easy to paddle you just might want
two.

Skylark: Length: 12' | Beam: 26" | Weight: 41 lbs | Cockpit: 35" x 18.5" | Capacity: 295 lbs
The Skylark is a blast to paddle! It fits into a new category of kayak considered
transitional or cross over. While essentially a recreational kayak in size and fit, the
Skylark has been endowed with much more consideration to the features and performance
found in a full fledged sea kayak. We gave it abundant stability and a roomy fit to make
the entry level paddler comfortable, yet the efficiency to keep up with longer boats on an
easy cruise. At the same time we want the more experienced paddler to have fun, so we added
hard chines for carving and Greenland styling for looks. This kayak is attractive to
beginners and one that they can grow in, yet also provides a lightweight and fun alternative
to the more experienced paddler.

Caribbean 12: Length: 12' | Beam: 30" | Weight: 45 lbs. | Capacity: 300 lbs.
Caribbean 14: Length: 14' | Beam: 29" | Weight: 50 lbs. | Capacity: 400 lbs.
Eddyline is proud to announce the release of our new Caribbean Sit on Top kayaks. Choose our 12 foot size with a 30 inch beam OR our 12 foot size with a 30 inch beam. Caribbean stability is extraordinary, yet the highly efficient Eddyline hull design and our smooth Carbonlite material lets her glide through the water with ease. Tracking is exceptional, making travel over distance much easier. Turns are accomplished easilly with a slight lean and sweep. Eddyline applied the principals of the unique Gull Wing configuration on the Caribbean hulls to retain efficiency and excellent tracking while maximizing stability. The extra sitting height produced by this configuration allows more comfortable seating while helping the cockpit and tank well to drain effectively.
The large front hatch, center day hatch and rear hatch give easy access to most of the interior space. Sea Dog foot pedals, comfortable carbon side carry handles, mounting tracks for numerous accessories and an abundance of mounting surfaces provide a variety of options for customizing the boat to suit your specific needs. An optional foot controlled rudder and rear tank well cover complete the package. The molded comfortable seat allows the addition of several dealer installed padded seat/backrest options. The seat well even has its own drain. Two scuppers in the cockpit and two in the tank well keep the deck drained well up to loads of 300 lbs in our 12ft size OR 400 lbs in our 14ft size.
Beautifully finished with our high gloss UV resistant Carbonlite material; you are bound to appreciate all that we have incorporated into these exciting kayaks.

Fathom LV:
Length: 15.5 Ft. Beam: 21.0 In. Weight: 47 lbs.
The Fathom LV is a scaled down version of the Fathom intended for the smaller framed paddler.
This sporty kayak retains all the delightful handling and efficiency of it's parent, but is
lighter and even a bit more nimble. The Fathom LV still has comfortable leg and foot room for
even the medium sized paddler and its curved foredeck eliminates hand or deck bumping whether
you have high or low angle paddling style. This kayak is quick to accelerate, glides forever,
turns on a dime and, with the skeg down, will track on a rail. One of the most versatile
kayaks in our line, it must be paddled to be fully appreciated.

Fathom:
Length: 16.5 Ft. Beam: 22 In. Weight: 50 lbs.
The Fathom is a new kayak from Eddyline that is sure to please the paddler looking for
that extra edge of performance regardless of your skill level. The Fathom's highly
efficient hull is fast, nearly effortless to accelerate to speed, yet carries a comfortable
degree of initial stability. The combination of hard chines mid-ship and a healthy degree of
rocker provide high secondary stability making leaned carved turns and bow rudder turns a
breeze. The Fathom tracks well either forward or backwards and subtle deployment of the skeg
in small increments allows for fine tuning in any wind/wave or gear loaded configuration.

Raven
|
|
Raven:
Length: 16ft. 9in. Beam: 22.0 in. Weight: 52 lbs.
In the late 1980's Eddyline introduced a new kayak called the Raven, chosen for the playful nature of this bird. This
boat was a departure from typical sea kayak design at the time as Tom Derrer, from his whitewater roots, wanted a more
responsive, maneuverable and fun open water kayak. The Raven received kudos from his customers and numerous reviews.
Outside Magazine 1995 & 96 "The Raven is kayakdom's equivalent to the best German sports sedan... it's the most responsive boat around."
Sea Kayaker Magazine 1993 "Raven receives high marks for maneuverability, responsiveness and play in rough water and surf."
The Raven was the best selling kayak at Eddyline until our transition to thermoforming brought about the release of all new models.
Today we are pleased to announce the re-birth of the Raven kayak in an all new configuration suited to today's technology and the desires of performance paddlers.
The "new" Raven features a raking bow and stern, hard chines mid-ship, and is very well balanced. This provides a "neutral" trim, creating a boat that is very quick and crisp handling in all conditions. All hull surfaces are fair, avoiding unnecessary turbulent flow and allowing the boat to be highly maneuverable without loss of forward speed. The harder chines mid-ship provide great tracking while on a wave and the raked bow and stern actually increase the waterline length when the boat is loaded. The Raven can accommodate multi-day touring as well as day tripping and ocean play.
Cockpit depth forward: 12.5 inches inside Cockpit depth aft: 8.5 inches outside.

lines and super efficient swede form hull design make her popular among racers or anyone

initial stability comfortable and the secondary awesome. Those looking for a boat to

Eddyline is proud to announce the release of the Shasta. At last, a high quality
performance tandem with a whole host of options and accessories.
The Shasta sports an easy paddling, efficient hull with moderately hard chines mid
ship for additional stability. Multiple seating options allow the boat to be
paddled as a tandem, with a dog or a child, or simply as a solo kayak.

storage, and the 8 foot long cockpit makes for super easy access and unrestricted
comfort. Excellent for family paddling, fishing, picnicking, hauling cargo and just
simply having fun!

Whisper CL:
Length: 18.0 Ft. Beam: 28.0 In. Weight: 73 lbs.
Tandem kayaks may not be for everyone, but there is no substitute for good company and,
despite their larger size, double kayaks are generally faster and easier to paddle.
Conversation is easy in the Whisper because the cockpits are more centrally located giving
the bow paddler a drier ride as well. While some paddle coordination is necessary in a
kayak like this, it is easier than dancing and just as much fun. This lightweight kayak
slices through the water effortlessly and makes coastal cruising a delight you will want
to return to over and over.
Note; shipping specials here are only for "new" models -used or clearance model kayaks are not included.
