Lotus Designs Play Boot by Patagonia
Durable and protective footgear.
The upper is constructed of sturdy three-dimensional mesh and foam-backed synthetic leather, and has a neoprene ankle cuff that fits snugly to keep the shoe in place. All of the eyelets are hidden, reducing the chance of laces snagging on footpegs or a bulkhead. The sole is very flexible and traction-oriented, conforming to the insane dimensions of almost all playboat bows, and the heel is rounded out to lie easily against your hull. A sticky rubber is laminated to the heel and toes, giving a climbing shoe feel to the "Play Boot" when negotiating difficult portages. Drain perforations in the upper keep foot-rot and stink to a minimum.
