Style
The FIN
style with a bottom "fin" to simply drop into the "crack" in the roof where
the rear door meets the roofline. (Fin depth is 1 3/4".)
Works with most SUV and minivan type vehicles with a rear lift door.
Check your vertical depth with hard ruler and available straight line width.
Load the boat, lift the roller out and put it
away.
You need 1 3/4" depth in the crack of your rear door to use this roller.
{2008-12 honda crv and mercedes ML300 are no fit with fin style -see our magnetic style} {ask about our Rav4 version; fin depth is 1 3/8".}

Velcro
Style
The VELCRO style
comes with a flat bottom (no fin) and will simply "Velcro" to the flat surface
of most vehicles that may have a swing or lift type rear door. Also fits most car rooflines,
trunk lids & pickup truck opened tailgates. Industrial grade Velcro is used
to adhere this roller while you slide your kayak on – then simply remove.
The one piece of Velcro will stay in place on the vehicle for next time.
(Decide if you like the Velcro idea over the scratches.) Extra Velcro
strips are included for future seasons or other vehicles.

Magnetic Style
The MAGNETIC style
comes with a flat, magnetic bottom (no fin) and will simply "stick" to any, flat
metal area of a vehicle that may have a swing or lift type door. Also fits most
car rooflines, trunk lids & pickup truck opened tailgates.
A powerful magnet is used
to adhere this roller while you slide your kayak on – then simply remove.
NOTE: The Magnetic Style SUV Roller requires a metal surface. If your vehicle
does not have an appropriate metal surface, use our "Velcro Style" roller.
