Seat Lowering Kit for Old Town Molded Canoe Seat
Lower your seat by 2" like we did and you'll feel 50% more stability from your old canoe! The seat spacer requires no maintenance and will not rot like a wood spacer can. Our seat spacer fits perfectly with Old Town plastic molded seats and vinyl gunwales. These seats are found on Tripper 172 and Tripper XL canoes, many Discovery canoes and all Guide 147 and Guide 160 canoes. (Not for Saranac.)

•Vertical position; Lower your seat 2"
•Horizontal position; Lower your seat 1"
•Includes two seat spacers, HDPE
•Kit for BLACK Seats (or single layer tan seats) Includes [4] Old Town four inch ss 10-24 bolts to replace original shorter bolts. (re-use your washers and locknuts.)
•Kit for thicker TAN Seats (hollow or foam filled) Includes [4] Old Town six inch ss 10-24 bolts to replace original shorter bolts. (re-use your washers and locknuts.)
•Compatable with backrest and any other original Old Town hardware.
Recommended for Old Town canoes with molded seats.
