When the manufacturer of Royalex ceased production in 2014, Esquif saw an opportunity to design and produce our own version here in Quebec, Canada, T-Formex.
With 18 years of experience making Royalex canoes we wanted to create something that would allow us to use our existing molds while not compromising the toughness that our customers demand.

Adirondack solo by Esquif Canoes. 12' Length allows for easy transport and covenient storage options. Superb Hull design for ultra stability and great tracking. . Our comfortable Super Seat backrest (optional) is easily removed for transport, yet secure and comfy when attached. Adirondack: Material: T-formex. Length: 12' Width: 32.5" Capacity: 350 lbs. Center Depth: 13.5" Weight: 39lbs.  When compared to other solo canoes our Adirondack provides more stability, capacity and buoyancy for a light OR heavy paddler plus some gear. Our Adirondack Angler is specially outfitted for solo paddlers who also like to fish. Each special thwart has 2 flush mount rod holders. The front thwart also has 2 Mighty Mounts which can hold two Scotty or RAM rod holders (as shown) Mighty Mounts can also hold other items such as a Cup Holder, Bait Board, Paddle Holder, GoPro, etc...
