Stretch Kit for Yakima Q tower rack
This is ONE new in Box Stretch Kit 8000134 from Yakima.
Yakima's Q-Tower design Self-adjusts for virtually any roof with it's ball and socket mechanism. Requires Q clips, towers and bar--sold separately. Over 100 interchangeable Q-clips available to ensure a perfect fit on the vehicle you now own -or one you might get in the future.

Some vehicles require, or may be enhanced by adding this Stretch Kit (includes a left and right unit per box, with instructions.) We have used this triumph of engineering many times over the years and it is just amazing! The Stretch Kit allows your Q-clips to mount in the usual spot but provides tremendous leverage to secure your rear crossbar much further back than otherwise possible.

This Stretch Kit can provide up to a 36inch bar spread for 4 door and 2 door vehicles! This is a big deal for folks transporting canoes and kayaks looking to support their craft in the best way possible.
Innovative design still allows you to remove your rack quickly by lifting the quick cam levers on your Q-tower rack system!
