Pad Eye kit
This kit contains 4 Pad Eyes with Hardware... choose hardware type: nuts and bolts, 10-32 hardware OR blind rivets.
‣ Use blind rivets when you don't have access underneath the kayak deck.
‣ If you can reach inside with a wrench, you may use nuts and bolts.
‣ Use our 10-32 hardware for an Ocean Kayak that already has threaded inserts 1 3/8 inches apart on center.
Pad eyes are already on some kayak models. They are very easy to add on if needed...
Pad eyes are used to hold things like hatch straps, bungee cords and adjustment straps for kayak seats and backrests.
